This paper deals with Chief Zebrudaya’s unique manner of communication with the Nigerian public through the media. Chief Zebrudaya’s unique brand of English which has entertained Nigerians for decades does not observe the syntactic rules of language rather breaks all rules but is yet understood by the Nigerian audience. Though he expresses himself in “bad” English and code switches to Igbo (an indigenous Nigerian language ), it does not come across as linguistic noise as the message is understood.
