This study explored the effects of exclusion on elderly people in health education in Buhera District. A triangulation of quantitative and qualitative approaches were used. One hundred elderly persons (aged 60+ years) and five key informants participated in the study. Key informants included a public health officer, a care-giver of an elderly person, a traditional doctor, a prophet and a private clinic doctor. Purposive sampling was used to select the respondents.
