A Trecherous Search For Redress: The Experience Of Sexual Violence Survivors In Eldoret Municipality, Kenya
Sexual violence in Kenya, especially in urban areas, is a subject that has not been subjected to open discussion. It is a problem that elicits social stigma among the various socio-cultural and socio-economic groups in the country. It is against this background that this paper sought to analyse the challenges experienced by sexual violence survivors of different socio-economic status in addressing sexual violence experiences in Eldoret Municipality, Kenya. This study adopted descriptive survey design selecting the study sample through snowball, simple random, multi-stage and purposive sampling techniques.
